For National Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Malouf Foundation Speaker Series partnered with Jason Weis for an online safety training for parents to help protect your children from online predators.
Jason has consulted with the Department of Homeland Security and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and his work as a detective led to the arrests and convictions of sex offenders. In this training he'll teach you:
- How predators target your children
- Behavioral changes to watch for in your kids
- The apps kids are using (Instagram, Kik, Whisper, TikTok)
- Settings kids may use to hide inappropriate messages
People under the age of 18 years will not be allowed to attend this event.
The training will take place on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm MST at Logan High School, 162 W 100 S, Logan, UT.
Jason gives insight on how online predators are targeting children and what aprents can expect to learn during this hands-on, interactive workshop.
